Anyone up for another 135 Thread?

Yeah I'm leaving for Florida on Friday as well for a baseball tournament.

I guess that this thread will really slow down then for the next week :D :D :D

They don't. My drawing may be a little off, but in real life, they drain into the 55g underneath. That gets pumped back to the nanos and the 135g fuge. The fuge then drains back into the 55g. So there will be what is known in Biology as a "Duplication of Effort."

display fuge? what I'd do, is use a xenia fuge along with some gsp along with the macro algea for some variety. Just my opinion though. So your going to add dividers to the 125, btw just gotta throw this in there, since you like frogspawn...

I was planning on Xenia in there, as it does work as a nutrient exporter. I don't know where I'll put the Froggie actually, probably in the anemone 20L if it won't be a danger...otherwise I guess it could stay in the fuge too.

I'm warming up to this setup. I like the idea of two seperate fuges that drain into each other.

The only thing I would do differently would be to scratch the skimmer...:)
Also, I would plumb everything so that the 20Ls don't have simultaneous returns and drains. That way if the softie tank fowls, it lessons the risk of you losing your refugium and sps/clam.

How do you plumb it like this? No idea. I'm clueless..:D

For me the less plumbing the better, but if you're ambitious enough go for it!

No softie tank. Just xenia and anthelia in the fuge. I forgot that they work as nutrient exports, so they will be perfect in the fuge. But if I were to have a softie tank, with like Colts and Leathers, then I'd run LOTS of carbon...that should take care of things.

I like the idea of some xenia and GSP in the fuge, it will make it look better since it is going to be a 'display fuge' :D I think that the xenia and GSP will go nicely in there and since both of them are impossible to kill it will be easy to maintain.

Urgh, another problem. My mom now doesn't want me to put fish tanks on my desk that I took apart. She says I need a desk in my room. Damn. I guess I could build my own stand. Is it that difficult?

Wow there has been so many changes in the plans lately. Sorry I don't know anything about stands I din't think that it would be to hard to do. Check out the DIY forum they have a ton of threads on DIY stands that are very nice and sturdy.

I know, the parents are being terrible! I'll check out the DIY forum. Maybe I can just buy some stands...don't they make them?

Hey T, Remember once im up and running ill have the 55 cast iron stand. Just a thought. And first set of frags will come your way also. Xenia. Red sea and elongata. And green star if you want. Have a ton of that.

Yes!! The two tanks I'm getting/have are 24x12x12, so two would fit exactly perfect on there! Yayyyyyyyyy I'll talk to you on AIM. :)
