Sounds like Larry will be plenty fat and happy. I would keep some in the 55 just in case he does mow down evrything that is green

I'm going to put some of the chaeto I've got now into the 135 tomorrow to see what he does.

Mine hasn't touched cheato to much. Everytime I put it in there for him he only nips at it and leaces close to the whole thing still in there by the end of the day. Now nori thats a different story a quater of a sheet(4by5in) only lasts him about an hour.

Yeah, Larry mows down any nori that gets in the tank. Hopefully he'll be too distracted to notice me putting chaeto in.

Have you decided what king of lighting that will go ont the 2 20s

Yes, that is what the pendants are for. Each 20L will be lit by a 250wDE with XM15ks. The fuge will be lit by 320w 6500k VHOs.

Aww man.. school starts next week for me...thus my reef endeavors will come to a slow...My mama promised me a final LFS visit! Saweet! i think i may pick up a hammer or a frogspawn, but i do like torches.. maybe an ultra max?

hahahahaaha enjoy school now cuz when you graduate and get a ft job it won't be fun. if i could pause one time in my life it would be my jr yr in high school ahhhh what fun.anyway how is your progress doing with the switch over to smaller tanks. iwas gon na go back a couple hundred posts but i'm lazy

Yep schoool again and not lookiing forward to it. I start on the 29th and it sucks atleast my life slows down for a bit though

Just fed the tank, 1:45am. The Frogspawn gladly took the mysis, as did the palythoas. I saw my emerald and the peppermint shrimp, maybe I should feed in the wee hours of the morning like this more often. There's pods everywhere, I actually saw two eating one of the mysid shrimp. The Nassarius came flying out, it's very cool...the tank has finally turned into a stable ecosystem

Today at the CTARS meeting I picked up an A. formosa and a purple M. digitata colony. I will have pictures after I come back from vacation.

I'm a sophmore too and now we don't start until the 30th and we get out June 2nd

Got back from Martha's Vineyard tonight...while my mom did keep the salinity in check, she didn't empty the skimmate. Thus, the reef is not looking presentable. I'm skimming wet, and it should be back to it's normal stunning self shortly.
