Those were all the pics I could get before the batteries died...I can't find the new batteries I just bought :furious:

The sand isn't that yellow, that was the camera. There is a little bit of fine detritus, from the Home Depot sand, so I'm still working on siphoning it out. It's not bad though. I'm going to get a bunch of critters to work the sand this Christmas, so we should be good to go.

The FTS shows the best color, that's what it's like in real life. I'm hooking up the Phoenix 14k DEs next weekend, so I'll have more pictures then.

So now we just sit, add stuff, and wait :D

Also, what should be my next fish, after the new pink skunk?

1. Powder Brown Tang (A. japonicus)
2. Sixline Wrasse (Pseudocheillinus hexataenia)
3. 2x Neon Gobies

lookin good, I'm glad we're looking at that rather than a bunch of smaller tanks. If you're going to do a powder blue, do it last they are an extremely aggressive tang, I know I used to have one. The six lines are pretty cool but can get aggressive also especially towards wrasses so if you want more wrasses hold off on that for a while also. So I guess my answer is 3. 2x Neon Gobies

Does the slimer look brownish to anyone? I'm colorblind with red/green deficiency, so I can't tell...it was brought to my attention that it looked brown. What do you think? Use the full tank shot as reference, that is the truest color.

Greg, I think I will get the Gobies...I just have to find an LFS that has them. Hopefully there will be some at the CTARS meeting. I think I have a new proposed stocking list:

1. Larry
2. Pair of Pink Skunks
3. Pair of Neon Gobies
4. Sixline Wrasse
5. One of the Fairy Wrasses
6. Pair of Fridmani Pseudochromis
7. Powder Brown Tang
8. Snowflake Eel (depending on how the tank does with the load)

I plan on doing weekly water changes now...I've gotten into that habit, as I've been doing biweekly water changes for cooking. That should keep the system going strong.

I may be out of the loop but I thought that it was either one or the other? :p

Hey the more the funner. My kids have Christmas and the muslim holiday for New Years. These days the kids can have the best of both worlds.

I celebrate Hanukkah with my religious Dad's side of the family, and the xmas with my nonreligious Mom's side. We really just like having big parties and family gatherings lol

Some new pics, the lights turned off, and the camera batteries are dying...but here you go:

With flash...just showing the aquascape. The black in the bed is not a metal deposit, it is just the coralline decaying...it's going away though.

So the Tunze 6100 will be here in the next week or so, and my corals are still coloring back up from my bad husbandry. So it's really just a waiting game right now.

We're also approaching the 1yr mark, but I was a slow slow slow starter, so we will call the tanks official birthday when I got my first coral: April 24th.

They're close, but I haven't noticed any sweeprs on the Hammer. I'm moving the slimer anyway, I moved it down to help it color back up.

A month since the last shot, so here is a month of growth:
