Anyone use instant algae for rotifers

I have the nanno 3600 68 billion cell count per ml. I didnt know how much everyone was adding to the cultures. I know it depends on how many and what size but just wanted to see how much everyone was using. I have never used this stuff but I would think a drop or two for a 2L . Or a couple drops for a 5g.

I'm no longer using the instant algae products but instead, am growing them on spirulina powder and enriching them with Algamac Protein Plus or Algamac 3050, whichever suits the needs at the time.
I blend the powders in a blender with water and store in a pop bottle in the refrigerator and add as needed.
These powders store for a long time in a freezer and are cheaper for shipping.
Also for those like myself that are out of USA, delays at boarders don't destroy the product.

When I was culturing rots I was using Instant algae from Reed Mariculture. I worked my feeding up to 20 drops twice per day in a 5g culture, and followed their guidlines for the culture. It was stable and never crashed. After about 4 months I discontinued the culture. The instant algae is very concentrated, and you need to start a very small dose. My starting dose was like 3 drops twice per day. I was also harvesting 1g per day.

Thanks for the info I was trying to find their guide lines and could not. I click on the For more information about growing rotifers please CLICK HERE and nothing comes up. Is it working for you?
