It's big, but would be nice to have that much water on hand with the new tank.

I've used them in the past, and it is great to have that much water on hand. I'd still have one of those if I had a larger tank.

Yeah, in the garage. I have a water supply in the garage so I don't think that would be a problem. It would take up a lot of room though. But so would 5 or 6 trash cans full of water

Yup, I use one for the RO waste water, then I use that for watering my yard and the dog.

Yep, I use those (or something very similar) for my RO top off supply. I like the fact the lids close down tight to keep the bugs from flying in. Also works well for storing mixed salt with a pump circulating the water for some larger water changes.
