anyone use these sumps??

I've got that exact model and I love it. They are actually built in my area and the build quality is excellent. I would buy this over stuff mass-produced quickly and shoddily. I have no regrets with mine. Feel free to ask me any specific questions.

Hi thank you, I found there website

http://www.triggersys.com/index.html

but I was wondering a few things like what size pluming for the water intakes, one inch? Also I see that there is a drawer for media before the skimmer section, what kind of media do you put in there (I have also heard that the skimmer woks best if its first in line before any other media, but I don’t know)dose that cause any problems? And how big is the opening for the Refugium section, it looks a bit small to me. Also if you don’t mind me asking, what size tank do you use it on and what skimmer and return pump do you use? And is your skimmer inside your sump or external? They look to be like a great built sump and I think I want to buy one, just want to know a few things before hand, thank you for you help, I hope its not to many questions for you. -Matt

The drain fittings are 1" and I use only filter felt in the drawer to trap detritus. I doubt that any media you use in the drawer would seriously mess with the skimmer's performance. I have a Trigger Systems needlewheel skimmer in the center section and I have also used a EuroReef CS6-1 in the same section. I believe the water level in the skimmer section is around 6" and the refugium is about 4-5" wide (I keep chaeto and live rock rubble in that section). My tank is 107-gallon cube and I use an Ocean Runner 3500 as return (submerged, not external). Let me know if you need any more information.
