Anyone used Praziquantel (Prazipro) in an SPS tank?

I've got a fluke infestation in the display tank. Removal of the fish is not an option.

I'm pretty hesitant to use any medication in a reef, but is Prazi coral-safe?

I have dose Prazipro In my system with no ill effects, I do not know if it worked though, I lost all my affected fish within the next few weeks. The directions should lead you the right way, I suggest that you start with half the dosage for the first application timeframe.

Treat immediately.. Flukes are killers.. fast

I have used it with no bad side effects. And it worked. I would recommend two treatments 5-6 days apart because I don't think it kills all life stages of the flukes. Just leave the skimmer off or turned down so it doesn't skim for a week to 10 days.

Feather dusters and some other tube worms will die. But mine small ones that came in on the live rock eventually rebounded. My Hawaiin feather duster didn't make it.

What kind of sps are you guys keeping, how about clams? I have acroporas and wonder if they like PP or not...

I have all kinds of sps; acros, montis, pocillos, seris, etc. I wouldn't say acros like prazi. Some of my acros browned out while I was dosing prazi but none of them died. The reason they browned out could have also been from not running the skimmer during the treatment period, hence higher nutrients.

I have used Prazi Pro as a dip for new acros. I mixed an incredibly strong dosage and dipped an acro frag in it for 15 minutes with no ill effects. I observed it killing AEFW dead, however I have not used it in my tank.

All of the acros are completely back to normal now. I dosed back in May, so it was a while ago.

I don't have any pics of my reef up right now, but I'll try to get some later.

Well folks. Yesterday I dosed my system with PP. At first I dosed a half dose. All seemed normal, an hour after I dosed the rest and a bit of extra, like 10 Ml more for a 210 gallon system...

My hippo tang who was rubbing so much on the rocks he was wearing his skin off, stopped rubbing. Ive noticed a die off in red flat worms but not all are dead yet.

LPS are looking like they didnt notice what happened, Acroporas, montiporas, clams, birds nest are all looking totally normal, like they didnt notice a thing.

Feather dusters seem unaffected and are expanded as normal.

Acanthurus Bariene, japanese swalowtail angel, clowns and threadfin cardinals are looking great.
