Anyone using a controller on their system that could answer a few questions?

I'm debating on buying a controller but I don't know enough about them to decide if one would work on my system or not.

My tank is in one room and has an electrical control panel in the stand. Timers in this panel control the lights and I have three way switches built in to control the pumps, which are in another room.

In the room behind the tank, I have all of my equipment and another electrical panel.

I began shopping for a ph controller to run my CA Reactor and someone suggested I spend a little more for a controller. With my tank and lights in one room and all of my pumps and equipment in another, can I fully utilize a controller?

I don't see why not. You'll just have to run extension cords to the DC8(s).

Or you could use a DC8 for all of the stuff in back and a DC4 for the stuff in the front all you need is telephone wire to connect the 2 togather.

MArino, I am in the same boat as you. Which one did you decide on? If you want I have a spreadsheet that I can turn you over to that compares all of them.
