Anyone wanna test my water for $$ today?

If someone in the Iowa City/Coralville area (or close by) is interested in testing my water it's certainly worth $5-$10 to me!

What I need is a high quality/reliable test of:

Calcium
Magnesium
Alkalinity
Phosphates
Silicates
Ammonia
Nitrites
Nitrates
TDS (tank and fresh RO/DI)

If interested, I'll bring the water to you as I'll be in town later today.

I'll probably order these tests shortly but it will take several days/week to get everything and I'd like to know why I have algae (bubble/etc) and why my mili looks sick.

I'm thinking the test kits I have may not be giving accurate results.

Thanks!

Eric

Eric-

You can drop off some water at my house, if you want. I have all those tests, except magnesium. Most of the tests are not that old. I don't test for silicates, per se, but I do test for phosphates. I have an in-line TDS meter that's not hooked up that you could borrow, if you like.

You don't have to pay me :)

Oh yeah, I remembered you had some of those nice yellow zoos in your tank......... you could drop off a few of those with the water ;)

I suggest ordering Salifert combo packs from Marine Depot to save you a few bucks.

I didn't see a "combo kit" on Marine Depot or any other site, just individual kits.

What's the consensus on Seachem?
