anyone want to join the big tank club?

How about we all go in together and I'm sure that my parents could fit it in their house! :)

They live about 45 minutes away from Columbus.... but they would open up our house for any meetings!!!!!

hahahahaha

Well, I'm sure that there are better ways of spending 16,000.00 dollars. Maybe we could buy a zebra.

$60,000 retail? huh? i know its a 900g acrylic tank but that seems WAY WAY WAY to high to me. or is he trying to imply the entire setup was $60,000?

wonder how bad a distortion there would be with 1" acylic.

None.

16,000 does seem a bit high for any kind of tank, not to mention 60,000.

Then again, I've never priced a 900 gallon tank at all. With the curves on that baby and a center overflow, you could fill a room with a beautiful 360 degrees viewable reef.

Mine is 1" acrylic and I agree with cward, it's not an issue simply based on it being 1" thick. I am surprised that on an 11' long tank the acrylic is only 1" thick. I would think bowing could be an issue, possibly leading to distortion.
