anyone willing to build a stand?

I am in the process of unpacking right now and i am trying to set up my new 240g cube tank at the same time. would anyone around boulder or longmont be willing to build a stand for a 4x4x2 tank? i would pay you and for materials. i asked a few LFS, but the price was too high. or if anyone has the number of a good contact for building a tank, let me know! i am not looking for siding or any nice trim. i just want the frame built. i will add siding at a later time. thanks everyone.

If you are in need of some tools, I could help out.

I will get in way tooo much trouble ( with the boss ;-) if I take on any new reef related projects right now.

If you figure out exactly what you need & do the footwork, I have the tools to help you cut, drill, screw, paint etc.

i actually have most of the tools i need, i was just unsure as to how i could build the frame to support the weight. thanks though.

another option: does anyone know a local steel fabricator that can build a square tube stand for a reasonable amount?

Zensaiyan....if you want steel, I can make it for you, and get a little price break if I get the steal where we get ours from for work. We would have to make it 2 pieces and have it slide together and bolt it up...or make all the pieces bolt together with flanges. Either way I can do it...Didnt even think about it when we were talking the other day.

nate, that would be awesome. i will give you a call tomorrow to explain what i had in mind. i was actually planning on making 2 stands that fit together as 1. basically it would be two 120g (4x2x2) tank stands put together.

i am going to bump this. i still need a stand built. i have contacted several steel fabricators, but no one has quoted me a price of less than $900 on this, which is over my limit. is anyone able to help out with this? i would sincerely appreciate any assistance.
