Anyone with a MTC 250

recently got a MTC 250 (HSA) and I can't seem to get ti to work. I have the recomended pump and my friend had it working. But when I plugged it in, nothing- anyone have exp with this skimmer, their website doesnt have a mannual uploaded

Which HSA is this? Injector down through the top of the crown? When you say nothing...is water going into the skimmer? I'd start with dis-assembling the injector, cleaning it and re-installing it. Don't open the air valve all the way... just enough air so that you get a calm layer of froth on the top of the column.

when the pump is on, the chamber doesnt fill with water compltely, I can't get bubbles. I'll try what u say, thanx

Try cleaning the injector- check for any blockages in the line prior to the injector as well. Close the air intake completely and close the gate valve on the output side so that you get the water level to around 60% of the reaction chamber to start. Open air intake as stated above.

Man I cleaned the injector, lots of crap came out lol

But now i get this annoying gurgling sound, anyway to stop that?

And idea how high the water levl should be in these skimmers?

Gurgling? Is it more of whistling noise? The air intake should be set so that there is a defined layer of calm froth at the top. In most cases setting the air as such eliminates the noise. As for water level you may want to start 4" below the crown and slowly work your way up so that you are getting your desired skimmate.

well i'm about 3 inches from the grey coupling. and theres about 2 inches of foam- will it travel up and over into the cup? seems so far for such little foam
