Just an update...when we returned this past Sunday from IMAC, we found our Black Tang to be salted with Ich. Nice hey? I traced it to the one fish that we didn't QT. Luckily a 4x8 net surrounds a nori clip rather nicely, and after holding a net still for 30 minutes, the Black Tang is in the QT tank with his little purple friend. (A 2" Purple Tang). You're immune from the Tang Police if you have two very small Tangs in a QT.

While I am not a proclaimed expert in this hobby, QT, QT, QT. I was going absolutely crazy trying to figure out how to get a 2.5", $400 fish out of a tank that has 32 cubic feet of space!!

We also have a SPS QT tank in the works as well.

The good news is, after 2 days, he's still eating like a pig and looking a titch better. We're using SeaChem's ParaGuard.

We'll keep ya updated....

Sorry to hear about your parasite problem. I have a bit of the same fun going on now, but using hyposalinity to treat them. After one week were looking much better over here. Look forward to see how your treatment goes. Are you removing all the fish from your display tank?

The others fish are still in the display, but show no sign yet. I have a 40w UV coming in which I'll run from the display.
