Silversides are good mussels will be good, just before feeding try blowing the rocks round the elegance bit of detritus been kicked up seems to get them to open up nicely and ready to feed. Good luck ;)

Grand wizard, I take it you have one of these fantastic corals. Where did you get it from as im in the UK?
Hi im in the uk,
and two of mine came from the last TMC import, and my other one was a rescued one from a dodgy import which was washed out and bleached beyond belief, :eek2: im glad to say that with a lot of tlc iv got all its zooxanthellae back in it and its now turning a stunning lime green with purple tips :D :D send me your email in a pm and i,ll send you a few pics. :) ;)

Silversides are Not a good food source long term; elegance can take food bits that big, but have difficulty digesting all the bone and such. Usually ends up wasting most of the food. Frequent feedings with much smaller food sources will serve it better long term; you can use fish filet, shell-off shrimp, mussels, etc, just think mysis shrimp sized bits when you go to feed it.

That is a beautiful specimin bad habit; how long have you had it now?

thanks, about 3 years. and yes i do feed it about anything I think it will eat but it goes throu a blender first. not compleatly mush but small pieces.

What kind of elegance it that? I thought the purple tip and orange tipped ones were awesome. I've never seem that!
