Anyone with any experience with Oddyssea skimmers.

I have the PS75. Dumped the pump and use a Rio 1100 with a diy RVT. Pulls super dark skimmate and need to empty cup every third day. Not the greatest construction materials but once in place and running what does it matter? If your on a budget like me I say go for it.

you get what you pay for.

Here we go. Why do people feel the need to make a useless non constructive comment like this?

FWIW this cheapo PS75 Odyssea skimmer works better than the much more expensive CPR BakPak, Aqua C Remora, and of course the more expensive Sea Clone.

Do you have pic's of how you connected the pump to the tube?

I think with a Mod or 2 this could be a good skimmer.. But the pump it comes with does suck.

I just asked this also and everyone said they are crappy and don't work 99% of the time. I choice not to get one because of the poor feedback.

Matt, if you like hops. try deadguy ale by Rogue brewing. Great on a hot summer day when grilling. Grow my own hops and brew my own. Oh im sorry we're supposed to talk reefs here. WHAT WAS I THINKING! Skimming thats it. I too am looking for a good skimmer. Just took my seaclown back to Petsmart. Dont mind spending alittle more if needed. Id really like to build by own venturi skimmer but cant find a venturi valve. Any Ideas?

I have never heard good things about Odysea. Everyone has their own opinions, but I would buy an Aqua C.
