I'm doing a DIY CO2 monitor (planted tank) and will have to do some modifications on a pH probe to make it work. Rather "practice" on a few dead probes, than a new one.
I just replaced the pH probe on my planted tank a month or two ago. I'm pretty sure I tossed it but I'll take a look and see if I held onto it.
Are you building a monitor that watches the pH to determine CO2 levels? If so, purely out of curiosity, why build one when monitors are so cheap? Or do you have something else in mind? Sorry, just wondering as I'm a planted tank kind of guy, you have my interest.

Well..... Cleaned around in the basement and I have an old ORP probe, but must have thrown out all my old pH probes during my autumn cleaning. I'll let you know when I change out my controllers though. I'm usually such a good hoarder too! Wife has been a bad influence forcing me to clean...
