Anything I need to do while I wait?

I have a 120 gal tank that due to my lack of patients I had an ich outbreak. I moved all the fish to a QT and treated with copper for three days. Since it was time to do a major cleaning of my tank, I took everything out and cleaned everything. I have set the tank back up and now I'm going through my 8 week waiting period for all the ich to die in the DT. Is ther anything I need to do while the fish are in QT waiting out the storm. Should I keep a low level of copper in the tank just to be sure all the ich is gone or should I just keep an eye out for the white spots and treat as needed?

Ok the fish in qt will need to be treated for a minimum of 30 days with copper. The DT I would let sit fallow for 76 days you can turn up the temp to 85 ish it will speed up the life cycle of the ick however if there is inverts and corals in the tank keep a close eye on them with the elevated temp I'm not sure how it will effect them. Also make sure to feed the tank so beneficial bacteria don't die off. And lastly don't keep your qt closer than 10' from the DT to avoid aerosol cross contamination
