I will sale this rock for 125. It weighs around 30 pounds dry, probably double that when wet, so if you bought this at a reef shop it would cost a whole heck of a lot more, and you probably wouldn't find such a unique piece. Someone should def. pick this up because your buying it dry for a little over 4$ lb.
$100 that's like 3$ a lb. anyone interested? if not I'm going to break it up and sue it in my tank, but i think this would be a shame when it's such a nice display piece.
You don't want to break that up man! Put it on the shelf for now, a better use will pop up eventually.
Actually, I was at a L.F.S. the other day and I thought I saw this rock in their tanks and I thought to myself you must of traded it in. Then I realized it was a piece of fake coral in this shape instead. :spin2:
Yeah that's the problem, I don't have room for it, so it either has to be sold, or it has to be broken and put in the tank. Haha, it really is a nice piece. I have enver seen this nice of rock in anyone's tank, very rare to have one this big in tact. I'm sure at a reef shop they would charge an arm and a leg.
Breaking it up to sale in pieces or to put in your tank? If breaking up to put in your tank, why not consider the rock CDBias is talking about as a trade? His rock will fit into your tank, fantastic shapes, and it will save this unique piece.
I think it is awesome just too big for me. If I was seeing up a new monster tank I'd be all over it.
yeah I really don't want to bust it up, and I'm trying to give a really reasonable deal for it, I don't know if Curtis is up for trade, I pm'd him, and wasn't really clear. I guess busting it to put it in the tank, You have a 120? I had it in my 150 before it fit fine.
