Apex (bad) from Steventnguyen

What surprised me is this happened locally. He had a thread where people supposedly picked up their jabao in his place of work so it would not be hard to find him. I am sure this can still be resolved.

Im not sure if Stevetnguyen ran a jebao group buy.. But Marflo did on the jebao 10's and he is upstanding and allowed people to pickup from his work. Just wanted to make sure we didn't mark the wrong people.

I would not be happy, you are far more patient than myself. There is nothing worse than a thief! I would show up at his home or work, whatever it takes to resolve the issue. Not saying that's a good idea but being ripped off makes me angry. Heck you getting ripped off makes me angry and I do not even know you.

Don't think he's willing or wanting to get this resolved. Checked his profile earlier this morning and it showed that he was viewing this thread so he is aware of it.

The thing is he said in his tank breakdown thread that he was quitting the hobby because he had too many traffic tickets. I guess that in itself shows his character because he was not following traffic LAWS. There are good people in our area that knows how to return a favor and there are those you just don't mess with monetarily especially in this economy.

Bad Situation, really no reason not to use Paypal when buying something locally too. It is a added layer of protection. PayPal would have refunded in both cases. Worth 3% to me.

I used paypal when I sent him the deposit, does this mean I could be potentially refunded? I sent him a 100 dollar deposit, and got 40 of it back. I just want the 60 I lost back. Is this fair? He has speeding tickets to pay and I get that, but lots of us can't afford to give away money (i.e.., my college loans). I don't know steventnguyen, and as such I don't want to make any assumptions about his character or integrity. We all go through rough patches. I just would like to put this behind me without losing or gaining anything, besides the headache of it all.

I believe you only have thirty days from the time of the original transaction to report an issue. Give it a shot anyways though.

I think since it was a gift transaction, I cannot file a claim. Oh well :hmm5:

i've done several deals with steven. he did run a great jebo group buy, and i picked up free stuff from him. also sold/traded coral with him. dude has been around a while.
he must be on really hard times...

Hey Guys,
Thanks for the response. Didn't know I would get this much attention at all. I may be the jerk in posting this thread but I'm just sharing my thoughts and at this point, im pretty sure i have been patient enough. I haven't heard anything from him but let's not assume about anyone's character or judge who they are by some life mistakes. Sometimes, **** happens and we just gotta be come out clean and honest in fixing those mistake. Whether he choose to or not--i don't know but his actions will speak for himself or judge him.. We'll see what happens--i'll keep y'all updated. Thanks again. Much appreciated.

Not really. Life had thrown a lot of curve balls on me but not once did I screw anybody regarding money.
