I never said I judged anybody's overall character based on speeding tickets alone. This is too much of an exaggeration and you can tell that who ever quoted me just want to pick an argument with it. What I said is that the person in question had quit the hobby based on multiple infractions with the LAW which should have made the buyers more cautious towards purchasing a high end equipment with the person in question. In turn, the buyer should have paid through paypal (not as a gift transaction) to ensure that they can get their money back in case there was an issue with the purchase.

When I sell any equipment here in RC locally, I insist on plugging it in to make sure that the buyer knows it works. It will not leave my hands without ensuring that the equipment works.

Dude now it's becoming like an argument between reefers. The seller should call or message the buyer. Whatever way get in contact with buyer. Let him know what's going on. If your having tough time and already spent the money he gave u and ur not able to give back rite away let him know when u can give him back the money and the buyer being pretty reasonable asking for 150 bucks to replace the broken unit and if u think it's not reasonable so refund him full amount and get unit back

It does show his bad character knowing the equipment was broken and still sells it, I don't know the guy, but I am sure put him on my blacklist. Come to think of it, I do remember Sammyj telling me about this guy a while back. Now I know who he is talking about. We probably never hear from him again. To the OP, you should still seek your money back. You have proof hear, that someone already bought the Apex and returned it due to it being broken, and he sold it to you knowing so. Hope you get it resolved...

I had it posted for less than the new price it's not broken or ripping any off
I've seen people post them for $240 and sell & I was flexible.

Price drop is on all 350's I believe.. But you still pay tax plus the $59 more so your saving good $ regardless. If you don't like those saving then go buy one new that's what I would do.

Sorry you got screwed! I could have told you this was going to happen as I have had a couple deals with him that went bad and had told a few people to stay away from him. He knows he's done for now as I'm sure he's been lurking and seeing this thread about how shady he is. We don't need people like him in this hobby!

You don't think he was talking about you here do you? I believe he was backing your case. Simmer Down I think everyone agrees you got the shaft on this one and believe me I can understand your frustration. I know it's paypal non gift for me 100% of the time now..
