I'd like to make a suggestion for an APEX best practices thread to be stickied in the forum, with a couple caveats. It should not be a discussion thread, that should take place in the unstickied posts. Once someone has a best practice solution. Post it in the stickied thread. Then have a moderator edit the original post in the best practices thread to include the new suggestion. So the original post will have to be broken down by sections, and each section would have a few best practice solutions. This would eliminate a LOT of redundant questions in the forum, and really help people find what they need, as it seems a majority of questions are related to programming.
