APEX Clock Problem

On power failure my APEX clock and date came up with the wrong date and the wrong time. How long does this take to self correct per the manual? Is there a way to manually set the correct date and time?
 
Do you have Auto Clock Set enabled? This is set via the web interface Configuration > Clock Setup. If enabled, on startup it is supposed to poll the time server and update. If disabled, you can manually set the time in the Tank Time box. When disabled it relies on the internal battery to maintain the time so you may also have a faulty battery.

Thanks, I did the manual time setup. I will need to figure out why the automatic does not appear to work since I do have a working internet connection.
 
Does email work? Are you using DHCP or a static IP address?

Both email and NTP (Network Time Protocol) functions in the Apex depend on having a valid DNS server entry, as well as the proper default gateway setting.
