APEX display unit turn blank this morning

Merry Christmas too all... but my christmas morning is not so good after I discovered my APEX display is stayed black..every function is ok just the display unit...well I saw a lot of ppl here having same problem..what is it then? just buy and sent it to Neptune to fix it? for $500 it should be more then this...I know neptune is good service but for this I have to unplug and sent it to fix, wait for a week or two to get it back. I owned AC JR for 2 years and never have problem..now APEX for 3 months...now it is... enough said.

well any solutions how to fix it without sent it to fix? please let me know. thanks in advace

I'm having the same problem as well, will call them on Monday. Hopefully it's not the 2k11 bug.

Strange, I had a problem recently with my non-responsive base unit. Sent it in a few days ago.

Is anyone know the phone number? or use the number on thier website? it is going to be a busy day for Neptune because I've seen a lot of people having same problem here and hoping they can fix over the net and not to send the unit to them...

Everything functions ok, but display is out and so far unrecoverable.

I had the same problem. I e-mailed Neptune support service, they confirmed that it could not be fixed by me, gave me a return authorization, I sent it in and had a new one within a week. I am very happy with the service and, because I always had web access to the Apex, never had a problem with my tank.

I still haven't received a response from them. I've tried calling numerous times during business hours and always get a busy signal.

I'm hoping they're just swamped with the holidays and will get back to me next week.

Apparently Curt is fast to respond to emails. Apparently he never received my first email. He was Johnny on the spot tonight. My unit's going back for repair.
