Apex float switch question

Hi guys, I am new to apex and what I want to do it to install a float switch for my ATO reservoir and let Apex to notify me when it is almost empty so I can refill.

my question is what apex module do I need to buy and what float switch do I need?
and where should I install the float switch? do I need to drill holes in the ato reservoir?

Apex will notify you when it goes from an open to closed position and can send you an email.

Do you need to drill a hole to install the switch? If so what's the optimal position thanks.

You will need to drill a hole for the switch. I use the switch in the reservoir for my AWC water and it is set up to turn off the AWC pumps (Apex DOS) and I have it about two inches from the bottom of the storage reservoir.
