Hello guys,

I'm trying to make my refugium turn on only Monday, Thursday and Friday from 2 :00 am to 8:00am because I simple have no nitrate and no phosphate... How can I program my apex to do this? Can't find a way to make it work.

This is the best answer.

But... I would think cutting hours down to 3 hours a day is much better for the macro. Another question is why do you need macro algae if your nitrate and phos is zero?

I would recommend leave the refuge alone and try cycling your skimmer to only run at night. This will give you a much better means of controlling your parameters.

You can fiddle with the skimmer run time up or down much easier than asking macroalgae to grow faster/slower.

Or extend the time you replace your filter sock. E.i., once a week instead of twice a week.

I'm using Triton Method, but I think I have too much refugium and Skimmer for what I keep... I have this tank for 6-7 months but I only have 5 Sps on it and 4 fishes. It is a 110 gallon tank.

I will follow with the Skimmer only during the night.
