Apex is here

I recieved my new Apex controller.
It is not as user friendly on the control box as say my Reefkeeper 2 is, but am planning on hooking it up to my Ethernet.
Where is the best place to pick up a wireless bridge? I have not been able to find anything local, and would like to get it quick.
I believe Dave(gondore has one on his controller). Maybe he would like to come out on Saturday with Jesse to play.

Here is a link where some people used a router to make a bridge.

Anyone have any idea how to do this? Price on wireless routers seams to be cheaper than some of the bridges I have found, and I can get local.

Chad,

I am using a unit very similar to this:

What you are basically looking for is something called either a game adapter or a wireless access point.

I have the ACIII instead of the Apex but I imagine the setup should be similar (the Apex should actually be easier from what I have read). I would suggest using the Netpune forums on RC as the people on there are very good about helping you out. If you get stuck let me know and I can try to help.

Hay Dave i just bought an apex as well,
I have a wireless router do i still need a linksys for my controller or not?

Then you need something like that game adapter/access point so that your controller can communicate with your wireless network. The other option is to not go wireless but instead run an ethernet cord to the back of your router. This sort of depends on if you house is wired for ethernet, etc.
