Apex issue

Today, I was at work and went to check my apex. Found that it had report a power failure couple minutes earlier. The connection at that time would either drop or work really well. So I didn't pay attention to it. Half an hour I log back in again and found that my apex said power went out couple of minutes earlier. I got home and found that there wasn't any power outage.

So everything work fine for the next hour. Then all of a sudden everything went off. The display wad blank. So I power cycle the whole unit. The eb8 started flashing orange. It took a very long time for the screen to go back to normal. However the base unit remain flashing orange while the eb8 flash green. All of the switches went into default mode.

What should I do? I can't connect to the unit at all.

If the base is flashing that would be an indication of corrupt firmware; if you haven't updated recently you may want to consider updating; there have been fixes to correct a problem with firmware corruption during a power failure quite some time ago; it sounds like you may not have that update.

I upgraded the firmware about 2 months ago. If there is a newer firmware that I don't know about in the last 2 months that resolve this issue.

So the base unit finally turn green, the eb8 started flashing orange, the display no longer lit. I can access it now, but I hve no clue what to do.

after calling Neptune support and work with them for over an hour. it was determine that something they can't fix over the web. I was told to send in the base unit for repair.
