im trying to set this apex up and its not working out.
the energy 8 bar isnt showing up in fusion its just the variable ports alarms and emails.
the status light on the energy 8 bar is solid green and when i go on the head unit under modules it shows up E8-3
where do I go from here?
also anyone local willing to set this up for me before I throw it in the dogs bowl gets beer or cash. I have zero patience for electronics

i figured it out, I have to configure the powerbar from the apex display.
Im dumbfounded it doesnt automatically recognize it but thats another story

In Fusion did you open the little lock at the top right of the page and drag the tiles for the EB8 outlets onto your fusion page?

You don't have to program from the Apex Display.

yes I tried that and nothing showed up just the tles shaking like on an iphone when moving apps. as soon as i hit config. eb8 on the head unit evefythnig showed up. kinda dinosaur age software since it wasnt auto recognized but im over it. the app seems to suck.
my electronics engineer fried who helped me set it up is laughing his *** off and says its softwareis so dinosaur age he could write in a day and build a unit which he did for a camping van with a hwt granite counters a tv a crazy stereo ect which is all run off an app he wrote the ignition key is useless but w/e it works and im only slightly disappointed how hard it was to hook up for a $800 controller

The software is far from dated (I have a PhD in engineering, and have been programming computers since the stone age). Instead, it's designed to be extremely robust (i.e., extensively tested), flexible (you can connect dozens of different attachments to the system) and easy for non-software geeks to program.

I would encourage you to download and read the Apex Comprehensive Reference Manual. Apex fusion is designed to be a companion to directly programming the unit from a web browser - it simply offers you an interface that downloads your configurations to the head unit, and allows limited access from anywhere on the net. This is a far superior design for this purpose than a true cloud-based control app; if you lose your net connection for any reason, nothing happens to your system's ability to control your tank.
