Apex Jr plus an EB8 question

I have the Apex junior and over time needed more plugs, so I got an EB8. As soon as I hooked it up, I started getting the amperage display (that the Junior does not come with.)

Just curious, does anyone know if I got a pH probe, and plugged it into the EB8 module, would that work, too? Do I in essence have the "regular" Apex system?

You'd need a PM1 in order to make a pH probe functional, but yes.

Bear in mind, the Jr. is hard coded to only allow a max of 5 modules. Both the display and EB8 each count as one.

I beat myself for buying the Junior, especially since I mainly wanted to control my Kessils, and needed to buy a VDM module to do that. Buying a PM1 module will bring my cost up to almost the Apex Gold I should have bought, and not been tied to five modules..

Live and learn. May eventually decide to sell the Jr and upgrade one of these days..
