Apex lite help

Purchased Apex lite unit. It is only the base unit & display. Its running the Apex Fusion firmware.

I will need to purchase temp probe & energy bar get to get this up and running correct?

I will add pm2 , salt probe & vdm later down rode.

If possible , could it be hooked up to some ones apex system to if it all works ok?

The energy bar powers it up. It can be hooked up to someone's energy bar to test if everything works okay. It wouldn't surprise me if you could power it up w/ a cell phone-like USB charger but I wouldn't risk it personally.

There is a power port on the the Apex, not sure of specifications but its not usb. Without a temperature or pH probe its more of an advanced timer.

Is the AquaBus Cable M/M the connection between base to eb8, if so can any usb m/m cable be used?

So being on line and researching all day, getting this apex up and running first attempt is not happening. Oh well!

Are you saying that i have to use Neptunes aquabus cable, standard usb will not work?

So i received Apex Lite base & display today. With all the bells and whistles that i will still need to purchase, decided to wait till Black Friday sale. Boy Apex is pricey!!!

Any chance that i could test on some ones system?

Any one have an extra eb8 & temp i may barrow for testing

My information came from the Neptune forums on their own site. Just don't plug your Apex into a standard USB port...
