Apex PH probe won't calibrate

I recently set up a cal reactor and bought a second probe. After I calibrated it, I was shocked to see that it said my PH was 7.6 (current probe read 8.24). So, I attempted to calibrate the old probe. I got a calibration failed message. I assumed my old PH probe needed replacing, so I went and bought another probe. I calibrated that one and it was successful, but said my tank had a PH of 10. I used different brand solutions both times. The weird thing is that during the "stablizing" period, the values didn't really move. Also, the 10 solution was reading in the sevens. Any thoughts? Is it possible I have 3 bad probes?

Are you running both pH probes off the base module or off an expansion module and the base module? Have you enabled the second probe via the display (Setup - PH Setup - PH Enable)?

I doubt you have 3 bad probes. If that were the case, I'd stay inside tomorrow!

I think there's something else going on here, something we're missing about your configuration. It doesn't matter who's probes you use, the pH probes will all work on the controller assuming they have the proper BNC connector.

I'd contact Neptune and see what they say. There's a way to initialize your calibration settings and maybe that's where they'll have you start. It's possible there's a problem with the controller but I'd look to other causes first.
