I have been using an Apex since 2008 and it has worked flawlessly.
I went through numerous firmware upgrades without problems and I am on the latest.
I recently upgraded my MH to AI sols and of course the Apex is conrtolling them.
After this upgrade, and I am not 100% sure about this and it may be coincidental, but it seems after the weather profile was used the Apex in several occasions dropped off the network, could not access it from the iphone or from the web server using a pc. Could still ping it though. It was like the apex web server cashed. Also the AIs would stay off.
A power cycle would solve the problem.
I saved the configuration and thinking the internal memory may have become corrupted I decided to reinitialize and start from scratch.
I was unable to restore the saved config file so after a second mem init, I reentered all of my code manually.
The problem I am having is my ph calibration was lost and I did not think about this. Tank ph is reading .30 higher and Ca reactor ph is reading .70 higher.
I am out of calibration fluid and I am going on vacation for 2 weeks. I ordered
ph 4, 7 and 10 calibration fluid but it will not be here before I leave.
First question:
I see on the ph probe setup screen (web browser) an offset field but it is grayd out. Is there a way to manually enter the .30 or .70 offset I know I have untill I can calibrate the probes properly?
Second question:
On the web browser ph probe calibration screen has the option to use ph 4 and 7 calibration solution but not 10.
On the display unit ph calibration screen offers ph 4,5,6,7 but not 10 as calibration solution options.
I clearly remembered 10 to be there. Was ph 10 removed as an option?
Thanks for any help
PS I dont mind to use telnet to enter ph offsets if it is an option.
