Apex programming issue

When I feed the fish, I hit Feed A and the sump fills up past the point of my high level switch. What programming code can I use so that it doesn't send the alarm.

I don't know if a switch can be turned off (be ignored) or not.
If it can, then a line of something like If Feed A , Then Off
Or maybe you can go into the switch settings?

Ya, I'm pretty sure if you go into your alert configurations, go to your alarm, you can put in a line about
If Feed A, Then Off
It has to be a pretty easy solution, I'm sure it happens to many
