Apex system layout

I received the basic apex system along with an additional EB8 for the holidays. I don't have room under my stand so I'm going to build a cabinet on the exterior side. Does anyone have recommendations for layout of the system? I want to make sure I leave room in the cabinet for expansion of the system. Can you share some layouts and provide any recommended do's and don'ts?
