So I have two Apex units that I have recently tried to update to 4.12_5A12. On my first unit both firmware and web pages were updated on the first attempt. The second unit however is being a little troublesome.
The problem: The web page update keeps failing. The firmware loads fine, but web pages always stop during the transfer at a random file with one of a few errors.
Things I have tried:
1) Waiting a minute or two before updating the web pages after the firmware successfully loads (so it has ample time to reboot).
2) Load the web pages from a Windows XP machine on the same switch in the network (XP Machine has .NET 3.5 SP1).
3) Load the web pages from my iMac on the same switch (Mac Update App vs Win Update App).
4) iMac using a crossover cable, so a direct link (rules out most network conflict issues).
5) A different ethernet cable (bad cable rule out).
I am at a loss. I am thinking maybe its a hardware problem with my base unit (due to the fact the other updates fine)?
Here are the logs of 3 different attempts from the xp machine, I have tried a few more, more or less the same result. At least from the Mac update application if one file fails, it loads the rest, whereas the windows version it stops the upload at the failed file.
Logs:
Attempt #1
Attempt #2
Attempt #3
