I wanted to get an Apex system but heard that their wireless required Port Forwarding to make it work. Is that true?

My problem is that my Comcast modem/router combo couldn't setup port forwarding.

i have comcast combo router and have port forward working. Also the new Fusion for apex it is super easy to setup email and alerts no more port forwarding!!!!
