Apex v. Bubble Magnus Dosing Pump

Can an Apex control a Bubble Magnus Dosing Pump? For if for some reason the main pump fails and I want dosing to stop, can I use the Apex to stop the BM and then start it again once the pump is running again. Other than that, can the Apex still control the BM?

Since the BMT0n units have a built-in controller, you'll be limited in what you can do with the Apex and these units.

Basically, you could use the Apex as a safety mechanism to shut down the doser if pH gets out of whack. You'd power the doser from an EB8 outlet set to Fallback OFF and Set OFF, along with a couple of statements to only enable the doser if the pH is within acceptable limits.

As already noted, the BM doser is given the total daily dose as an input parameter x ml then doses that over between six and twelve partial doses.

Also, the clock resets on power outages. All in all, not an easy doser to use with a reef controller.
