Apex working on local network, cant access outside

I think I have an unique challenge here because of my set up. I will start by saying everthing works fine on my local connection and I can access Apex, via display, web and via iphone app when running on my local wifi connection and network set up. its when I try to connect from outside...thats where i need help.

Lets start with equipment and how things are currently set up with all the devices I have

1. Motorola (AT&T DSL) modem with single DSL phone line and single Ethernet out port
2. Grandstream (Phonepower VOIP service) HT502 with single LAN and WAN ports, 2 phone line etc
3. Linksys/Cisco WRT610N v2 router
4. Linksys/Cisco WET610N gaming bridge as I have no fixed line to my tank and Apex equipment
5. Set up an account with DYNDNS.org and connected it to my WRT610N - it seems to say it connects via DDNS tabs etc.

.....So here is the set up.

#1 Motorola brings my DSL service into my home. I then connect #2 Grandstream VOIP box before my #3 WRT610N router. From there I connect #4 WET610N wireless gaming bridge that connects directly to Apex.

Standard set up here, with Motorola Ethernet port connected into WAN on the HT502, then out via LAN to WRT610N router. The HT502 has DMZ field and port forwarding capability - I think I might be stuck here somehow. Not sure? Have tried to put the device in DMZ and also use different port with port forwarding. Also moved to a fixed IP on my WRT610N for the Apex device etc.

Happy to share more information or details, but hopefully someone has got some similar VOIP set up working.

Would greatly appreciate any networking engineers help here. I am going on a trip for 22 days and not feeling good about not monitoring the system.

Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions.

WRT160N router WAN/Internet IP address needs to be set static.
Use DMZ mode in VoIP box pointing to WAN IP of WRT160N.

What is the model number of the Motorola? It may be a router, not just a DSL modem.

Motorola is in fact both DSL modem and router as you suggested - motorola 2210-02-1022

I can move the PPOe (login information) from Motorola to my HT502 (VOIP) as that's the next hop before my internet connection hits the WRT610N. Is it possible to move PPOe all the way to WRT610N?

Not sure what or how I would set WRT610N with static IP?

I have set DMZ IP on the HT502 to point to the WRT610 IP address. Is that what you are asking me to do above?

I'm open to using something like ammyy.com if you think it will help seeing the setup.

Thanks for the suggestions so far.

Unless you know exactly what you are doing, don't mess with the PPPoE settings.

The simplest thing you can do is use DMZ mode in the Motorola, pointing it to the WAN address of the HT502 (VoIP box), then use DMZ in the HT502 pointing to the router.

A better solution would be to move the HT502 to a LAN port on the WRT610N. Set DMZ mode in the Motorola pointing to the WRT610.

Code:
[FONT=Fixedsys]DSL Gateway -> WRT610N -> HT502
                                              |->other wired devices[/FONT]

I have not been able to move the HT502 after my WRT610N router....tried everything (I think, but again no expert) and cant get the phone service to work or i get pohne to work but no internet etc.

BTW, the PPOe settings is now on my HT502 and everything seems to be working fine.

The Motorola has no DMZ inputs or fields that I can find. That said the HT502 does. I still think the solution lies in the HT502set up (because I cant seem to move HT502 behind my WRT610N)

Have you ever used a tool like ammyy? Want to "waist your time" trying to remote into my setup and poke around?

The one thing I immediately see that is wrong is in the HT502... the port forwarding rule is set to UDP only; it needs to be TCP only.

Ok thx, great catch. I tried to follow all your previous instructions and have set up the Ht502 behind Wrt610n vs in front of router.

Worked with Phonepower (my VoIP provider) and after firmware upgrade to Ht502 my set up is as follows.

motorola -> wrt610N router -> Ht502

Going over to neighbor and connecting via his Internet to see if I can get into Apex via dyndns set up.
