So I finally have my WXM hooked up to my tank and looking for some ideas on programs. I have a 60 cube with a Mp40 and MP10 on the backwall. One on either side of the overflow. I have then on reefcrest mode now but would like to change things up a little. I am set on having both of them on the back wall. Thanks

Following along..

I have a 72 gallon bow front with an Mp40wes. It's a mix reef tank, fish, inverts, softies, lps, etc.. Right now I have it doing a short pulse all during the day that creates a nice back and forth sway like motion- I think it's at 80% and 1.5 seconds (something like that), and at night I made a custom night mode on constant at 25% (the night mode that's on the vortech only drops it to 50% of what ever mode you're in and I like my tank to get some rest at night ; ). With the WXM and the Vortech the program possibility's you can run are endless. Here's what I'm going to run and see what happens.

12am nightmode
3am nightmode
6am nightmode
9am reefcrest 80%
12pm shortpulse 80%
3pm shortpulse 80%
6pm shortpulse 80%
9pm tidalswell 80%

Every tank is different though, so this may work out for me and not so good for someone else. I'm always open to suggestions... : )

While I appreciate the night time mode, please consider that night time is when you need water movement to help with gas exchange. This will help keep your pH up. Currents in the ocean don't slow down at night, as humans we see the surface more calm in the evenings. In reality underwater there is very little change.
