Very nice little schooling fish for a reef tank; they need some overhangs for cover and are planktivores.

Here is more info on this fish

Ed-
thanks for the info...
i checked them out already on fishBase, however i can never find any husbandry info there, which i why this post :)

have you kept these yourself?
im a bit concerned about dropping some cash on a big school of 'em only to find out they are nocturnal or super shy durning the day...

other than that they seem cool.

my tank is set up with tons of caves and a porous wall of live rock, so plenny nooks & crannies.

Scott,
These fish do fine in brighter environments; I kept a school of six in my 210 with 3 - 250watt halides and 96 watt PC's.

They kept to one side of the tank near a cave but remained in the open water column catching food particles as it dumped in from my refugium.

There behavior was between that of Grammas and Fairy Wrasse or Anthias.

thanks for the info Ed... that was what i was looking for...

i have Lyretails in this tank & have my feeding system setup basically with them in mind... 6 feedings a day-- 4 small auto feedings & 2 that i do in the morning & afternoon to get a varied diet in there... plus a gravity 'fuge...

think i might get 7 stoplights...

thanks again for the info Ed, its a great help for researching!!!
