Apogon leptacanthus and Anthias

Does it make a difference which is introduced first into an aquarium?

I have both in my tank. The Anthias (bartlett's) came second. They don't seem to have much interest in each other. The anthias do seem to out compete them for food.

I don't think it matters - I also have both - anthias were first - like above they don't interact much - feeding foods like BBS & Cyclopeeze helps the cardinals get plenty of food
