Appropriate sps selection

ludiNano

I'm becoming...Brundlefly
I would like to select some appropriate SPS coral for my 10g nano. It already has some zoo's, mushrooms, green star polyps, red knob starfish, some hermits.

aqua clear 10g powerhead
mini jet 606
peng. 150 filter
96w50/50 corallife- 8 hrs
nitrates-nitrites-ammon.-at 0.
salinity- 1.024
calcium- 420-440
temp: 78
LR: 13lb
LS: 10lb

you should try the SPS section, they may be more informed there. I have a green slimer that has been doing well, and I am no sps expert.

The SPS forum probably would have been a better place to ask but...
Montipora digitata or M. capricornis are good beginner corals. More common Pavona species (potato chip coral etc....)are also pretty hardy. Tank raised will typically do better than others. Not sure where you are but if you have a reef club nearby you should be able to get some frags of those corals for pretty cheap or free.

But might also be a bit aggressive for a ten gallon tank.
