Is it bad that apstasia is growing on the live rock in my refugium? Its even starting to stick to the glass. I just dont want it in my tank.

look at the reefvideos site, aiptasia can be controlled so that they consume detritus. if you can, a uv sterilizer can be used to prevent it from spreading into the display. basically, if you can control it, it can be used as another form of filtration and/or nutrient export

I have a fairly large infestation in my refuge..
Yes they will migrate to the main tank..

I've added a couple Berghia to mow the little nasties down.

Any I find in the main tank I siphon off back down into the refuge.
Lunch for the Berghia

Wouldn't a UV sterilizer kill all the good pods moving up from the refuge?

I had some in my sump and they eventually made there way into my DT. I added a couple of peppermint shrimp in the sump and 4 in the DT. I havent seen an aptasia in a couple months.

From time to time I get them in my fuge. If they grow on the glass, and most do, I just use a razor blade and scrape them off the glass. If they're on the cheato I just remove a clump that they were residing on. Pretty easy.
