Apstasia?

I have hundreds of what I believe are apstasia after reading up on them, but I'm not sure. Why are they bad? I can't seem to find anyone who agrees on why. Also, they don't pull back into holes like everyone describes, they behave exactly like anemones. However, they have turned from one into hundreds over the past 6 months so I don't believe they are. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

They can get so big; that they could eat your fish. They also multiply rapidly. Too many could take over your entire tank and your corals. This is what I have been told.

They're "bad" because they sting other corrals and multiply very quickly. They're also just about impossible to eradicate completely and can over-run a tank pretty quickly if left unchecked. It's kind of like asking "what's a weed" though. It is very much in the eye of the beholder. Some people like dandelions. If you like them, and they're not causing you any problems, you're in luck!

what about the fact that their dull, brown, and loppy looking. Not only do they not get along with all the other cool stuff in your tank...their ugly too.
