Aptasia - Are peppermints really effective?

for me berghia as a last resort. I can get them locally but would rather not have it starve before it gets all the aptasia. But if it gets really bad I will go that route.

If you knew how easily reared and abundant Berghia were, you would not care about them dying when the job is done. They are just like Xenia, Star Polyps, or Chaeto.

The fate of many snails and hermits makes the Berghia deal seem miniscule.

The price is the thing that makes ya pucker... Yeooow !

Go with the Shrimp. They gang up on the bigger ones when the run out of the smaller ones. They act as a preventative too.

I REALLY like Aiptasia Control by Blue Vet Rx, it's like joes juice but actually works. It comes out like tooth paste, not all watery. A little goes a long way and it definatly kills aips in seconds.

I have read though that the nudis may starve before they get it all and for the price they better do the whole job lol. I like the shrimp though. They breed a lot and are quite fun to watch. I had mine trained to swim up to the water line to get food at feeding time. bummed they died.

peps worked for me. But i only had like 2 or 3 at the time.
