Aptasia Outbreak - HELP!

My 75-gal is a little over a year old. A few months back, some aptasia appeared on my LR. Tried aptasia remedies with no success. Actually made things 100x's worse. They have spread like wildfire and I haven't been able to keep up with them spreading everywhere. My LR is almost completely covered now.

What is the best way to get rid of these, take the LR out and dip with something, boil them...what? I am guessing if this is the only way, my LR will no longer be LR anymore, right?
:(

Just take some of your kalkwasser and a syringe and shoot in their middle. They die instantly

Thats what I do, works great for me...

Thanks, I will give it a try. I had to stop using the other remedies because it started to affect my fish, BTA and softies. My rocks are so covered now that I will have to remove them to treat. Sad, I had finally got the scaping just right!

I boiled up some lemon juice in the microwave before. Then used a syringe to suck it up and injected away. I only had one aptaisia and it immediately shrunk into its hole. Few minutes later i re-injected it just to be sure. Few days later it decomposed and the hole it lived in became occupied by my goby:)

Many species of butterfly fish will decimate a population of aiptasia overnight. Problem is, they might decimate your corals too. But if you don't have any coral, get yourself an auriga butterfly and you wont see a single aiptasia tomorrow.

ok when u inject the lemon juice do you take the whole LR out of the tank? cause my LR is HUGE and there is just one little bugger stuck on it.. can i inject the lemon juice while the rock is still in my tank?? or do i have to take the whole thing out ??
-tina >.<

Does anyone have a picture of this aiptasia? I'd like to see what it looks like so I know if any of the polyps I think I have aren't really something else...

Tina, you do not have to remove the rock.

Lemon juice is an acid so it kills aips. Vinigar works also. Pickeling Lime is the same thing as Kalk, just 10Xs cheaper, that's what I usually use to kill 'em. I had good results with Joe' Juice too (not an acid but nobody knows exactly what it contains). Keep in mind that acids effect your pH so dont over do it with any of above.

mine looked like this.
