Aptasia right?

I guess this is aptasia. Where do I get it given how long I've had my tank.

Bad side there is no way to get it without taking out most go the rock. It's at the bottom center.

Its hard to tell by that pic what it is. Could be mojano which is much harder to get rid if than aptasia

Hard to tell. Given that it appears to be in a shaded area, my guess would be a ball tipped anemone, which are harmless. That said, aiptasia are not necessarily the curse they are made out to be. There are certain kinds that spread more aggressively than others. I had one aiptasia in my nano that I just watched it for 18 months and never multiplied. After the transfer to my ghetto tank. I noticed 3, the original one and 2 on recently acquired frag plugs, so likely they came into my system recently. Because I was not sure of these new ones, I got a peppermint and now I have no aiptasia as far as I know. Hope this helps.

Peps are evil. I'd rather have aiptasia. Try a CBB or berghias. Might need a trigger or good wrasse to take care of those peps once they start eating lps and softies. If you don't have such corals, no problem.

I was thinking of doing the coke bottle trap after it's gone. Hope they munch on it. But we'll see.

Did not want to get a berghias for 3 aptasia. But if the peps top don't do the trick next month I'll be looking for one. Does this group pass one around or are they good to keep after the do the job?

Use a syringe and hit it with kalkwasser you'll thank me in the morning!

I use a 20g needle and inject them directly there gone in 2mins
