I've never had more than 3 in my tank at one time but my experience was this:
* 1st time I got a pepermint shrmip and he ate it in 1 day.
* 2nd time the same pepermint shrmip refused to touch it so I squirted calcium additive on them and they died. It took a few "treatments". Taking the rock out and letting the calcium soak into the aiptasia for 10 seconds seemed to kill it in one go.
If you have a big infestation the critters that eat them might be a good idea, like the nudibranches.
