Aptasia

Hello all,
I have a problem that I hope you all can help me with. I have a reef tank thats starting to be a home to many aptasia and I was wondering if theres anything non-chemical that can take care of them. I tried kalk and joes, but it keeps coming back and I can't use peppermints cause I have a pair of blue jaw triggers in there (I put 5 of them in there a week ago and I don't see them and the population of aptaisa is increasing). I hear a copperband are ok, but I just rather have something else to take care of them. Maybe a longnose butterfly???

6 months ago, my 120 tank was totally overrunn with Aiptasia....I tried EVERYTHING...nothing worked and not only did I have alot, they were huge! So, finally I broke down and got a Copperbanded Butterfly...and now I don't have a single aiptasia. It's the only true natural thing that really works. And she doesn't pick on any of the other corals or my small fish.

Too bad you are down there in Birmingham. CRA has Klein's butterfly and Raccoon Butterfly that would love to clean your rocks. John told me that people can bring their rocks in for their service. Ever since they cleaned up all the aiptasia and majano anemone in John's tank, they are looking for some tasty snacks ;)

Yea that sounds great, but just about all of my rock have some coral that may be a tasty snack for them too hahaha....I guess I just have to bite the bullet and get a copperband. I kinda wanted to get something out of the ordinary in my tank to take care of them, but it'll give me some color in there too since 3 of the 4 fish are not so striking in color but I love them  I hope it don't go after my clam.
