I haven't put a new piece of rock in my tank for 5 yrs. All of the sudden I have 5 -6 of these pests on one of my rocks and one is even growing on one of my koralias and another is in the overflow. I've read about how to get rid of them but my question is where did they suddenly come from? Aren't they usually hitch hikers?

nothing. The only thing I've added to my tank is some new turbos and hermits. I didn't pour the fish store water into the tank.

I have a tank that has one or two aiptasia every six months. I nuke them with kalk and I'm OK for another six months.

My theory is that the aiptasia fairy is too busy to visit my tanks more often .

I was just curious if this was a nutrient issue or something else. I'm going to order a couple peppermint shrimp and let them take care of the aptasia

USe 4cc on Lime juice on each one. They will die instantly
